Who else is an inspiration?

I think I am inspired every day by my friends and family my best friend Dianne Pilkington for example is a fabulous west end leading lady and working mum; I am lucky to be friends with people like Linda Riley who works tirelessly for the LGBT community, my friend Chris Wild who overcame adversity to write a best selling autobiography highlighting the abuse in the care system, my specialist nurse sister saves lived. The list goes on. Everyone is inspiring to me in different ways.

You always look so glamorous what are your five top beauty tips?

Ha I don't always feel glamorous, these are my top five right now...

Spending time out in the fresh air by the sea away from hectic city life.

A good night cream, I alternate between Lacura from Aldi! and Crème de la Mer.

Less is more, I try not to plaster my face with makeup, as it can be aging to wear too much foundation etc, I focus on my eyes.

Benefit "They're Real" mascara is the best I have found to really make your eyes pop. People always think I'm wearing falsies.

I use a gold highlighter on my cheekbones and the inside corner of my eyes, which does the same job as but doesn't look as fake up close as contouring. I use "I ❤️Makeup" heart highlighters from Superdrug.

It's been lovely chatting one last question  you were on the DIVA power list last year that must be an honour  how important is the LGBTQ community to you?

A complete honour. As someone who identifies as bisexual myself and with many LGBTQ friends , as well as being a part of Bad Girls tv show which was one of the first prime time dramas to represent lesbian relationships for a mainstream audience and having performed on the women's stage at London Pride last year, I am so proud to be a part of this ever stronger community. We are a force to be reckoned with!
