Do you get influenced by your surroundings?
I believe everyone is influenced by the surroundings in one way or another. We are influenced by Scandinavian aesthetics – minimal, clean lines and silhouettes provide DNA of our designs.
We know there is a great fashion scene in Lithuania, please can you share with our readers what happening right now?
Currently Lithuanian fashion scene is very active and alive – we do have several high-end haute couture fashion designers that are known outside Lithuania and we do have a number of emerging independent fashion labels. They are reaching out the global market with highly creative pieces, marketable designs and unbeatable quality. These emerging independent designers shape the mindset of the local people offering them unique and original garments with “made in Lithuania” label.
Apparently local designs are highly admired by Lithuanians themselves and as a result we do have quite a number of “Lithuanian design” boutiques that are doing successful business and are competing with fast fashion.
What is next for Dear Freedom?
We hope next the door will open for international market. Currently this is our main goal that we are working on.
Furthermore, for the next two seasons we are planning to collaborate with a number of influencers and artists, we love collaborations cause they always bring fresh ideas and inspirations for future.
