The MagHive can do quite a few things for you:
It can remind you about daily life things such as weather conditions and the things you need for the day. How many of you have forgotten your keys or wallet at home? Admit it, we have all done it at least once in our lives or we know people who are always leaving them behind. Because it is connected to the internet and it keeps checking the weather, if it’s sunny outside, the sunglasses icon will be highlighted on the display, and if it’s raining, it will display the umbrella. Cool huh?
It’s a dedicated personal reminder. The Pitaka MagTag keyring has an embedded NFC chip, which can be linked to any preset dedicated reminders. The messages will only show up when the keyring is added or removed.
For example, you can remind yourself or a family member to feed the dog or water the plants by presetting a message via the MagMemo App. When you or your family member puts the keys or wallet on the MagHive, the NFC module detects it and displays the relevant message.
Do you have kids? this one is for you!
I thought this was pretty smart. Say that you are still in the office late at night and your child has not arrived at home at the time set, the MagHive will send you a message so that you can check when your child is.
All you have to do is pre-set the time limit on the Pitaka MagMemo App and thanks to the NFC module, you can receive a message when your child puts the keys or wallet on the module, letting you know they are home

Not everyone may need this, but if you put the MagHive by the front door, it’s a great way to get you into the habit of taking everything you need before you leave, specially when you are rushing around. I have friends who can never find their keys because they can’t remember where the put them after they came home.
