I

This is why I'm so proud of my buddy Chris DiVecchio. After a few conversations, I even got involved in his project and we knocked the book out in record time.

The one thing I have always seen in Chris, is his positive attitude towards everything he does both in business and in life. When he shared about the book he wanted to write and the concept, I knew it was a perfect addition to what he does every day and that people would get value from it.

As a Hollywood health & fitness mind and body trainer, Chris understands there is more than just a training routine. His book called "The 5x2 Method" is going to be a great asset not only to his clients but to anyone who wants a simple method to start thinking differently.

So let's chat to Chris about the book!

How did you come up with the idea for your book The 5 x2 Method?

I very innocently stumbled upon this technique. Every morning when the alarm clock rang, I would reach up for a long deep stretch, roll out of bed, pull on my slippers, walk downstairs to grind my coffee and breathe in the aromas, read through my morning inspiration from the Daily Om, turn on a Gary Vee Podcast, pour myself a cup of coffee and get on with my day.

I started journaling and realized a common pattern that most of my days were incredibly productive and fulfilled with not much I would have changed. That’s when I started to think about it.....and it hit me! I was performing a routine that was taping into all 5 of my senses.

The 5x2 was something that I had been performing every single morning without even consciously knowing it. I’ve always been very aware of my senses; however, now that I had this awakening, I started to connect happy, positive feelings with specific memories that were triggered by all of my 5 senses. I like to think that my subconscious understood this concept long before I did and was in some way looking for a way to always keep me in a positive state of mind. Once I realized the influence this was having in my life, I made the decision that I wanted to share this with everyone.

cannot tell you how many times I come across people who say "I want to write a book" or "I'm going to publish a book soon" and 4-5 years later they still say the same thing.
