ELITE STONE – LEADING ITALIAN COMPANY FOR MARBLE, ONYX & SEMI-PRECIOUS STONE LAUNCH NEW LONDON SHOWROOM SHORTLY.

SPECTACULAR NEW KITCHEN CONCEPT, ELITE STONE E-LIGHT SYSTEM FOCUSING ON THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF ONYX

FOUNDER CEO TETYANA KOVALENKO HAS DEVELOPED A KITCHEN DESIGNED FOR COOKING WITH ENTERTAINING IN ONE SPACE

Tetyana Kovalenko is the glamorous founder and CEO of Elite Stone (www.elitestone.it

They install opulent projects around the world, using marble, onyx and semi-precious stone. She studied geology and minerology in Rome, founded the company in 2000, moved to Verona from Rome in 2013.

Her team of designers, architects and engineers took ten years of research to develop the E-light system. Technical description below. .

E-light is a system of backlighting panels of marble and onyx, which offers an infinity of decorative possibilities to highlight the beauty of natural marble and onyx, far beyond a table top or bathroom wall.

As a technical explanation: the E-Light panel is a laminate element, compact, lightweight and durable, minimum thickness of 6mm, formed by a rigid glass support a minimum of 3 mm thick, coupled to a panel in natural marble of 3 m, or onyx of 5 mm.

Each panel can be back-lit by a bright LED transmission system, provided by two methods: either dimmable white light or an alternative system offering a choice of sixteen colours.

The tempering of the glass rigid support procedure amplifies up to 8 times the physical and mechanical characteristics of normal glass.

In the kitchen Tetyana calls ‘One Plate’ all the appliances slide away. Buyers of such a special space might also have a chef’s kitchen and another family kitchen for breakfast and informal dining. The One-Plate would be used to cook one dish (perhaps something festive that can be flambéed, or even a risotto, paella or similar with lots of ingredients ) for a party. All the surfaces are in backlit onyx (you could say this is another alternative AAtive to marble, equally if not more luxurious). The cupboards are lined with marine plywood, resistant to damp, and faced with handstitched leather. They have this kitchen installed in their Verona display area, called L’Atelier, and it will also be in their new London showroom (see next page).
