New portrait bust of Jane covered in 24 carat gold, arrives at Combe Grove Hotel Bath, to delight visitors in their grand Georgian drawing room. It will remain until June 25th , then travel to the Guildhall Bath.until 4th July. Jane Austen, Britain’s best loved writer lived in Bath for five years, from 1801.
After the Guildhall, Bath, the gilded Jane Austen by Modern Souvenir Co. will travel to Tylney Hall Hotel, Hook from 4th July to 17th July 2017, returning to Bath Tourist Information Centre 18th July to 4th September, and Royal Crescent Hotel, Bath, 5th September to 19th September.

Timothy Richards has been making exquisite architectural models in his Bath workshops since 1988. Robert Grace, with many years’ experience installing elaborate tiles and intricate mosaic, decorates billionaires’ bath tubs with gold, mosaic, and cascades of jewels.

Combe Grove is a Grade II-listed Georgian country manor house hotel near Bath. It is set in 70 acres of woodland, with expansive views over the Limpley Stoke valley, all the way out to the Westbury White Horse.
Combe Grove was recently taken over by The Elmhurst Foundation, a charity with a vision to create a centre for work-based learning excellence with a diverse range of high quality apprenticeships. In time, our team of apprentices will help us to grow into a centre for holistic wellness, making the very most of the hotel’s tranquil woodland setting and outstanding natural views.
