What do you know about your industry now that you didn't before you became successful?
I have more of an understanding of mobile home parks, and licensing. You learn as you go, you lean as you grow.
What sacrifices have you made to get where you are today?
I have sacrificed my family. I spent time treating business like a baby, nurturing and watching it flourish.
Are there any other industries you branched out into after the success of your current one?
Best Park Home Finances, Kyoto Furniture and Best Property Management where we manage worldwide property rentals.
What has been your most rewarding accomplishment?
Seeing my business take flight and expand beyond my expectations.
What were your biggest failures?
I’ve had many failures which at the time seemed like the world was crumbling. Most of these did eventually turn into opportunities. In the world of business, no matter how big or small we all learn every day. Our disasters should always be treated as learning curves. Also my failures where ME, by not believing in myself, not reading the market correctly. Always check and double check in business and never believe your own hype.
How would someone work smarter?
Have a lot of strength as the journey of an entrepreneur is very long and very hard. Any weakness then you will crack under pressure. Also prioritise your work!
What is your defining moment when you realise you have succeeded?
When the business took on a life of its own and flourished. Although I have not succeeded as yet, I have not reached contentment.
