At this moment in time, many of you may agree that summer seems a long way off. Not so, however, at Sunspel, where our new Spring/Summer collection has recently arrived.

The season of bank holiday mini-breaks and long weekends away is not nearly as distant as it currently feels, and our new collection has been carefully curated to offer everything you could possibly need to pack in your suitcase, from easy camp collar shirts to super soft Japanese towels.

Taking inspiration from small-scale English creative studios, our design team have developed a collection that is reminiscent of the English summer – big cloudy skies and windswept plains, overcast with a soft, diffused light. This ambience is not restricted to the colour palette of steely blues, delicate pinks, and sea greens, but comes through in the clothes themselves too – soft, light, comfortable and pleasingly familiar pieces that are a pleasure to wear.

Our signature fabrics take a turn for the exotic with the introduction of tropical wools, cool cotton linens and soft organic cotton towelling. The pinnacle of luxury, our Sea Island cotton range, is expanded further still with the arrival of the Ian Fleming Collection: a refined menswear range designed in homage to the acclaimed author, who was a fan of Sunspel’s rare Sea Island cotton and frequently dressed his famous spy, James Bond, in it too.

Light summer shirting and printed swim shorts round out the men’s holiday wardrobe, while our womenswear collection sees delicate fabrics given luxurious twists. Silk blends with merino wool and bamboo cotton, as well as standing alone in a range of soft, sophisticated sleepwear that doubles up as underwear, loungewear and even daywear too.

Sat beside flattering jersey dresses, soft Vintage Wool knitwear and deep indigo selvedge denim, our sumptuous silk blend fabrics complete an elevated everyday wardrobe that is both easy to wear and incredibly elegant.

The finishing touch for this collection comes in the form of accessories, from suede trainers in a smart olive shade to colourful leather cardholders that are made in England, just down the road from the Sunspel factory itself.
