Whilst Managing Director Alisa Moussaieff originates from Vienna, Shlomo Moussaieff her late husband's family originated from Bukhara, the heart of the fabled silk route. Early in her marriage Mrs Moussaieff discovered in herself an intrinsic fascination for her husband's rich artistic heritage. Blessed with acute artistic sensitivities she quickly recognised the enormous design potential of this colourful, vibrant culture. Applying her design panash she proceeded to combine strong contrasting colours and round geometric forms which never failed to achieve full artistic harmony.
