Which positive person from history would you like to meet....
I would love to meet Lois Weber. She was a silent film actor, screenwriter, producer and director. She brought to the screen more than 100 films. She challenged censors, pioneered the split screen, conquered the box office and to this day is considered one of the greatest auteur directors. Lois became the first woman to own her own film studio in 1917. In a time when women were always challenged and held back, she flourished and pioneered the future for female directors. I would love to be able to sit with her and find out what motivated her, and how she managed to overcome so many obstacles in order to achieve her dreams.
What is the most positive song on your playlist.
The song that always brings me so much joy is NOT ALONE. My sister, Julia, wrote it for the credits on my film SUN DOGS. I love having her music be a part of my work. You can see the film and hear her song on NETFLIX, but what really brings me joy is that I can find her song all over great playlists on Spotify. NOT ALONE never fails to inspire me and put a smile to my face.
