That usually ends up back firing because you show up hungry prepared to eat one of everything. Instead, eat at your usual times and plan to have a meal before you head out so you are less likely to gorge. You’ll enjoy the few items that you more carefully select

#3 Add a little extra to your workouts

- in anticipation of the holiday parties and extra calories, don’t be afraid to add a little more time on the treadmill or a couple more exercises to your normal workout routine. The additional calorie burn will make you feel better about your indulgence and allow a little more room for that caloric increase.

#4 Stock your fridge with healthy foods

- it’s too easy to get caught up in all the treats available this time of year. instead of loading up the house like a bear in Hibernation, Save your extra calories for the holiday parties. You’ll be more likely to keep it clean at home if you’re prepared with healthy food options.

#5 Choose Wisely

- Just because it’s there doesn’t mean you have to eat it. The truth is that most of these foods are available all year long so don’t feel the pressure to have it all at once. In addition, some food selections are better than others. Choose your cheats wisely and you’ll look and feel better throughout the holidays.
