What do you consider to be the most interesting thing about you?

I don’t feel I’m actually talented at anything, I see most things as a skill that can be learned, within reason of course. I feel my talent is perhaps my sheer ability to adapt when I want to.

What is the importance of the connections you make? How do you utilize them?

Connections are everything! You can be the best at everything but without the right connections it would be very challenging to move forward in this industry. Some people can be considered as mediocre but go very far because they know the right people.

How do you respond to the “back up plan” questions?

I think it's a good idea to have one. I could give you the “having enough self believe means you'll definitely make it” speech, but I'd be lying. Where's the logic in that? I feel that, you need to make a living or you'll be poor. I know money doesn’t buy happiness but it sure does feel good not to worry about where your next meal is coming from, or how your rent will be paid. In my opinion poverty causes worry, worry causes stress. Stress causes illness and unhappiness. A lot of musicians don’t make money from music or can’t afford to have music recorded. So I am all for back up plans.

There is a lot of emphasis on image in the music industry, how important do you feel it is?
Very! I struggle with this sometimes. Everyone say’s be yourself but 99 out of a 100 times they're dressed exactly like someone they follow on Social media, maybe with ‘their own spin on it’. I don't think it's about being your self. I think it's about presenting and expressing yourself in the way that you’re comfortable with.

What skills/personal attributes do you feel are most important to being successful?

Self motivation, charisma, hard working, realism, ability to take criticism, ability to continue to get back up at being knocked no matter how many times, ability to adapt to change.

What personal advice would you give to someone wanting to pursue music as a career?

I would advice them not to worry about trying to be perfect, you'll never get anything done!
Believe in yourself but not to a fault. Be open to hearing people’s opinions. If people think you suck don't just label them haters or ignore their comments. Understand why they think you stuck and see if you can use their criticism to improve. Dream big but don't dream stupid (No not everyone can do anything) if you're 4’9 you're probably never going to make it in the NBA. Don't expect it to be easy, it isn't. If you're doing this to look cool, quit now! Lastly… Think with your head NOT your heart that is literally what the brain is for. The heart is notoriously bad at giving good advice

What is a typical day/week like for you?

Usually, I am at the Studio recording, on set of a video shoot in some random country, home editing or just scheming with the squad.

What’s next for you
I recently got out of the management contract I was under for the last few years so I'm just going to have fun for a while.  Release whatever I want and not think too much about the outcome. I actually feel like the music I'll be releasing in this period will gain more interest than anything I have done before.
