Is there anything you would do differently using the wisdom you have now?

I would have hired a personal coach earlier so I could have been brave enough to become the person I wanted to be before I was put in a situation where I had no choice. I would have hired a team to ensure constant growth in my performance and keep me accountable with my word. I would have started looking for my dream team in business way sooner. Another thing I would have done differently is shown my face and been proud to be a young entrepreneur instead of making my business decisions out of fear and lack.

How do people around the world find you if they need to connect? Is it word of mouth?

I have a great referral program so a lot of my business is word of mouth. I also attract a lot of clients through LinkedIn. I love to network and am often featured in blogs and podcasts. But my favorite way of connecting with people is through Facebook Live! This one business tool has truly been a game-changer for me this past year.

Do you choose to have little interaction on other forms of social media? (We love your Facebook Live posts by the way).

I tend to keep my social media presence on Facebook. It's the best way to reach me! I also have an Instagram account to document my travels and a LinkedIn profile.

Top 3 tips for growing your business on-line?

My first tip is to be very clear on what your personal identity is. Although your business might have a brand, when people are watching on social media they are looking to see if you are someone they would want to associate with. So your personal brand is just as important, if not more important, than your business brand. Be in integrity with who you say you are on social media. All it takes is one post out of alignment to generate the wrong attention. My second tip is being consistent. It's typical for people to get very excited when they first start promoting themselves on social media and post a lot in the beginning then lose motivation and stop posting. But what's most important is to be consistent with how much and how often you post. Commit to how many times a week you want to post and then make sure you stay accountable and honour your commitment. The third tip is we attract who we are in business. If you want people to watch, like, comment on, and share your posts be generous in return. Make people feel good and let them know when you like their stuff and it will come back to you one hundred times!
