How did you find the self-belief to achieve what you did?

I believe people change for two reasons: they change out of choice or they change out of obligation. Because of the situation I found myself in it seemed, at the time, that there

was no other option but to step up, and the amount of energy I put into getting myself out of where I was and managing to be more focused with my energy than I had ever tried to implement before. It blasted me through more levels of success than I could ever have thought I could achieve. In hindsight, I do realize I could have avoided a lot of pain by consciously choosing transformation back when I was in a better space, hired a coach and gracefully done the work, but I guess I chose the hard way!

When did you feel like you'd achieved your goal?

I set goals differently than most people. I set emotional targets I want to hit. My belief is the only reason we set goals in the first place is because we imagine we will feel a

certain way when we hit them. So I get clear on what emotion I'm looking to feel and align all my work, every day, in order to feel that way. My “goals” are on-going; in my life it's always about the journey and making it the most extraordinary it can possibly be because all my

destinations are temporary.

Who is the woman or man you admire most and why?

Oprah. Because it takes a very strong person to overcome adversity and turn their life around. But it takes an even stronger person to make others believe that they can do it

too! Not only does Oprah inspire millions of people every day she also celebrates people for their accomplishments, gives them a voice and a platform to be heard and does so in such a loving and genuine way. In my opinion she's created one of the largest ripple effects in personal development.

What lessons have you learned that you could share with others?

I have learned SO many lessons! But by far the most impactful lesson I have learned is that there is no point in thriving to be successful on my own. So many times I put myself in ridiculous situations because I was too proud to ask for help, because I didn't think I needed the guidance, because somehow I felt it would diminish my accomplishment if I hadn't done it alone. What I realize today is that the best part about success is all the people who contribute to it, all the moments that create it, and being able to share that feeling of accomplishment with the people who stood by me and are genuinely happy for what I've created.
