I also loved that due to the fabrics tones moving and changing as they pass light the whole collection has a feel of perpetual motion, with each step, turn or twist a new pattern is created, and a new visual element is there to be seen, add in the nods towards the 90’s cyber fashion period and we have a designer that has the ability to weave a variety of notes into a masterpiece.
I love print I love bold, I love layered, I love Cassey Gan. The collection mixes muted greys, blacks and more modest colours as accents against the striking colours of the prints, an effect that is built on clever manipulation of layers of fabric. This is constructionist graffiti as fashion, and will be perfect for the spring and summer.
