It's true that many people have lost weight with IF but it does more than just that.

A growing body of research is showing that IF is one of the best, proven ways to improve your health in both the short and long term.

IF is linked to decreased inflammation, better blood sugar balance, and increased cognitive function.

By giving your digestive system a break it can help clear your mind, give a restorative break for your gut and give your cells time to clear out old proteins

so they can properly rebuild and regenerate

Fact.

You won't lose muscle, your metabolism won't slow down and your weight loss will be fat and not water.

Tips on how to take a healthy leap into IF.

Start your fast after dinner: Have your last meal at 7 pm and if you wake at 7 am you are already halfway there if you are doing the 24 hours IF. And if you are doing a 16 hour IF then you can have your first meal, something light at 10 am.

Drink plenty of water; An empty stomach will make you feel hungry so regular drinks of water are best, also tea and coffee without milk.

Break your fast with a normal sized meal: Have the same kind of meal you would have if you weren't fasting. No junk food, eat whole unprocessed foods and eat slowly!
