In search of peace of mind and maybe some answers to life’s many questions we visited the land of fire and ice, Iceland.

With its diverse fjords, expansive farmland, clear lakes and majestic mountains we are confident that it will provide both adventure and relaxation. As soon as we land in Keflavik our favourite thing is to do is visit the nearby magical Blue Lagoon  for the ever blissful experience of taking a leisurely walk or swim in milky blue geothermal seawater and indulge in an underwater massage, thus getting rid of the city, the worries, the work mode and literally wash away our troubles.

Situated in a vast Lava plain on the south coast of Iceland's Reykjanes

Penninsula, the Blue Lagoon holds nine million liters of geothermal  seawater, the Lagoon's water is sourced directly from the Svartsengi geothermal fields and its recirculation interval is 40 hours.

You can spend a day relaxing and indulging in the various massages that the spa offers and later dine at the restaurant which reimagines Iceland's culinary traditions.

A stay at the newly expanded hotel "The Retreat" is also  recommended

With a subterranean spa which will make you leave the world behind and enter a timeless realm of relaxation.
