The ‘sink’ is now elevated to a sacred ‘cleansing plinth’.
It was carved in Alexandrian White marble from new British company, Fox Marble plc. The only British company predominantly operating in Kosovo. They are excavating new marble quarries in Kosovo and Macedonia, reviving a long dormant industry and reinvigorating the country.
Studio Juju describes its sink as two marble circles, separating wet and dry, on a raised plinth.
