Add articles or blogs of your own and share others that support the area of expertise you want to be known for
Provide regular comments to posts that provide your professional thoughts and opinions
Be active in your chosen groups
Add videos of you presenting or being interviewed
Post regularly and consistently to keep high in Google rankings
Ask for endorsements from trusted clients and colleagues

Twitter – a quick and concise way to engage with your target audience. Also a great research tool. Avoid the trivial ‘I’ve just let the cat out’ kind of posts!
Facebook – the social platform that can give a deeper insight into your character and the personality of your business. Make sure all that you post is congruent with the professional brand you are creating.
Instagram – for real-life images and moments, and quotes. More personal but could support your professional brand.
YouTube – have your own channel and add videos of you that relate to your professional expertise and brand.
