You are known for your amazing hair who does it and what products do you use.?

Ya know what, I have it cut once a year, I used to go back to my hometown of Bristol where one of my colleges from my hairdressing days Lisa Lurwey cut it for me. Now my my longtime friend and salon owner Wayne Kett does it, we were also hairdressers together in Bristol in the 80s, I’ve never let anyone else touch it. My colour is done by Sadie at James Bopp in Hampton Village, I blow dry it for my shows myself using Bumble & Bumble Curl, Windle & Moodle of Covent Garden Texture Cream. Windle & Moodle Oceanic Spray and Windle & Moodle Matt Paste.

One fun thing you might not know is my band played Caesars Palace Las Vegas for 2000 hair dressers for Paul Mitchell CEO, John Paul de Joria's hairdressing convention quite some years back now. We’ve also done various other parties for him as he’s a big fan of our music..At one time we had so much Paul Mitchell hair product we could have sold it for our front yards!!! Haaa. x (Love his Wax Spray).

You have just starred in Netflix Mute will you making more films ? What was it like working with the gorgeous Alexander Skarsgrad ?

I would love to make more films, its not something I’m actually pursuing at this time as I’ve just finished a new studio album and we have a UK and Australia Tour lined up.

Working with the gorgeous Alex Skarsgard was amazing, he is a kind and gentle generous man. I was quite nervous in some scenes, he just talked me through it and was eager to be as helpful as he could. I found out he was a fan of “The Who” (rock band) so, in return for his kindness I offered to take in to see them perform “Tommy” at the Albert Hall, I got tickets and back stage passes as we were once managed by the Who’s management Trinifold. Sadly he ended up not being able to come because of filming commitments, but I was pleased I was able to do something nice back for him for looking out for me. Also, he now owns two Never The Bride cd’s, we email each other from time to time.

If I was to buy you a cocktail what would it be and what bar/venue would you like to drink it at?

A Pina Colada at a bar or venue recommended by you Steven because you have such impeccable taste. x

You also teach singing who are some of the famous names you have taught, Who do you think in the public eye currently needs lessons.

Some of the famous names I have taught are Beverly Knight, Jocelyn Brown, Newton Faulkner, Gabrielle Aplin, Lana del Rae, Courtney Love, I also work with the Mumfords and Muse.

Who do I think needs coaching in the public eye? The whole bloody lot of em!! Its a shambles out there!

Sam Smith, Adele have both had nodule operations and they’re only in their 20s! The UK is not like the USA, in the USA when an artist has a record deal they also have a vocal coach, its standard practice, and the coach goes on the road with them.

In the UK, everyones auto tuned which is why they all sound the same, for live shows lots of artists mime or their voice goes through a processor which puts their voice in tune... So, they feel why would I need a vocal coach?

Its tragic, thats why you very rarely see UK artists doing World Tours, they don’t have the vocal stamina or technique to last….

Nikki Lamborn is playing with her band Never The Bride all over the UK - You can find out where by clicking this link -
