Nikki Lamborn has worked with house-hold names such as Jocelyn Brown, Beverley Knight, Newton Faulkner, Mumford and Sons, Muse’s Chris Wolstenholme, Hudson Taylor and Lana Del Ray. As well as coaching privately, Nikki helps students hone and refine their vocal and performance techniques at London’s Dean St Studios and has appeared on television in Channel 4’s “Faking It” and the BBC’s “Just the Two of Us”.and BBC'S all together . She is touring with her band Never The Bride this April. She tells Steven Smith about her likes and loves.

What was your proudest moment in your signing career?
My proudest moment in my signing career was when my band played the Albert Hall with Roger Daltrey.
The Albert Hall for me growing up was the ultimate place to play, in my dreams I would wish for it. It was extra special for me because both my parents were in the audience, a proud moment for them too.
You appeared as one of the 100 in BBC'S All Together Now . How did that come about and will there be another series.
I was sent an email from the BBC to ask whether I might be interested in being a judge on a new TV Project called All Together Now.
My first reaction was, "Oh no, not another talent show”. Once I’d been told the concept of the show and the fact that there was a prize of £50,000 for the winner with no added BS or promises of record deals etc I thought it could be a good idea.
My audition involved telling my life story, singing in front of a panel of producers and being showed various acts on screen and judging whether or not I would stand up for their performance.
It took some weeks but I finally got an
email to say I’d been chosen, I wasn’t sure what to expect but I think it was a great show over all, real, full of fun, emotion, and variety.
Who in the public eye do you find the most attractive?
I think that Kate Winslet is stunning she’s got that English Rose vibe about her.
Which restaurant in the world would you be most likely to take a date that you wanted to get romantic with?
You know If I ask someone on a date, anywhere I am with them would be romantic, even Nando’s.
What is your guilty pleasure?
I really enjoy fine Wine, as often as possible please!
Among your fans are Liza Minnelli , Shirley Bassey who are you a fan of among the current stars.?
It's difficult to say whom I’m a fan of
in todays current stars, I’m still in awe of artists like Aretha Franklin, Bette Midler (the singer), Stevie Wonder,
Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Stevie Nicks, Carole King whom as far as I know are all still alive! I suppose current would be Lady Gaga, she’s totally committed and real, and, the girl can sing!
