Top 30 Millennial Bajan Entrepreneurs Under 30 another who sees your worth. In 2017, we expanded and hosted a workshop in St. Lucia after hitting a lull in Barbados. That is the best decision we made as it gave us regional credibility and expanded our client base. If the door doesn’t open locally find another one regionally or internationally. 4.) What in your opinion are some of the main differences between Millennials and previous generations as it relates to doing business? A: Millennials understand the concept of our business a lot quicker, however, they are often unwilling to invest in themselves. Non-millennial clients understand the value of the services and are more willing to invest in themselves and their businesses. Striking a balance is one we are trying to manage daily. 5.) Fun lightning round: Coke or Sprite, Vanilla or Chocolate, Hunter or Gatherer, Favourite Bajan sweet treat, Face- book or Instagram. A: Coke, Chocolate, Hunter, Tamarind Balls, IG. 6.) What has your business taught you about life? A: Business has taught me that it won’t always be smooth sailing but it is important to enjoy the journey and not to focus of the destination. Every month is not the same, sometimes you make a profit other months you wonder why you are even running a business. There are times you feel overwhelmed with pride that you assisted a client in landing a job or increasing revenue and you are reassured of your passion and purpose; that keeps you going. Enjoy the journey, the destination is the bonus. 7.) What is the latest with the HR Boss? (What are you currently working on?) A: We just launched HR Boss Biz, which is our subsidiary HR consultancy which has the core focus of providing a suite of HR services for businesses. This is particularly exciting for us and huge for the region because we are providing affordable HR solutions for businesses from as low as $99.00 USD per month. This will be a game changer. Follow @hrbossbiz on IG for more updates. 8.) What is the next step with the HR Boss? (Do you have any future projects that you are excited about? A: We’re celebrating our 3rd Anniversary in June 2019. This is major! We’re hosting several events during the month and we are officially launching HR Boss Biz. In 2020, we’re working on expanding our online course portfolio and we are launching our regional career goals platform.
