6.) What has running Life In Leggings taught you about life?
Life is about living in the present. It’s about making the most out of it not only for yourself but also for others. Many of the things
that I benefit from today are because people realised that they could not only improve the quality of life for themselves but also
others. They were willing to make sacrifices to create results that they may not have lived long enough to benefit from themselves.
I want to do the same with the work that I am doing for the generations of women who will come after me.
7.) What is the latest with Life In Leggings? (What are you currently working on?)
We’re working on several projects, but one, in particular, focuses on ending femicide and finding ways in which we could
assist the children that are left behind.
8.) What is the next step for Life In Leggings? (Do you have any future projects that you are excited about?)
Our next step is to acquire a space in which we can better assist survivors of gender-based violence with the necessary
support services that they require.
