Born and raised in Barbados, Ch’An is a 26 year old,fe-
male vocalist with a penchant for meshing an oldjazz vocal
and modern pop sounds. Hailing from St.Philip, she has
made it from our little rock all the way to Paris, and back to a
stage near you. With inspirations as eclectic as Ella Fitzger-
ald, Pink, Amy Winehouse and Patra, Ch’An’s performances
are always a touch of something fresh and exciting. She’s
opened for Jah Cure, Chrisette Michelle, Melanie Fiona, and
Tweet, as well as performed in various cities around the world.

A. I don’t think I was inspired to be an artiste but it always
felt like something I was born to do. It’s the one thing that feels
right: like breathing
