“ You feel like you are constantly growing and pushing yourself .”
While there is some certainty to her schedule , like closing a house or taking her kids to school , Hitchcock says her phone may ring at any time for a showing . Or , she could have a potential seller contact her for advice and assistance in listing a house on the market .
“ Those kinds of things pop up all the time ; you have to be ready and to be sporadic because that is what works best for people ,” Hitchcock says . “ It is just an ongoing , exciting and constant moving workhouse .”
Hitchcock has been a devoted local for almost her entire life and she plans to continue helping and impacting the community surrounding her .
“ As a real estate agent , you are an independent contractor , so each agent can choose to be involved in community things or not ,” Hitchcock says . “ But just being available and being aware that we ’ re still needed out there to do things that are important to us . It is how I do my part .”
