FLOOR TO CEILING TILES Stark white kitch- ens are giving way to more color- ful ones, often brightened by bold backsplashes. “I’m all about more is more,” says Tamayo. “Some people do kitchen backsplashes halfway, but I like it where you take advantage of the wall from the coun- ter to the ceiling. I’m finding that people are more open to that.” HAIR ON HIDE Farber and Rosen say that a lot of customers are asking for features that include hair on hide, particularly on rugs.
