otherwise known as AZTEC TWO-STEP. At this performance, they
interpret the classic music of another great duo: Simon & Garfunkel
(who, unlike Aztec Two-Step, didn’t come together in 1971 over a
chance meeting at an open mic night in Boston). Tickets $28-$38.

VETERANS RECEIVE
HEALTH CARE ASSISTANCE
For the second consecutive year, the HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION OF NEW
JERSEY in Millburn is partnering with the JEWISH VOCATIONAL SERVICE OF
METROWEST to help fund its Healthcare Case Management for Veterans program.
HCMV assists more than 90 veterans through health education, health care screenings,
and referrals to community health care services. The financial support allows JVS to hire
experienced staff members, and to screen veterans, providing them with preliminary
assessments for issues such as depression, PTSD, anxiety and critical needs; JVS then
provides the recommended next steps, sometimes connecting them to community
partners, suggesting additional health care interventions and offering assistance with
employment and affordable housing. The funds also facilitate Vets Helping Vets, a
weekly support group that meets at JVS’ East Orange location. JVS Programs and
Services, 7 Glenwood Ave., Lower Level, East Orange; (973) 674-6330, jvsnj.org.
