CHEW CHEW ON THIS
Michael Colombo’s whole life may have been preparing to own and operate his own Italian pizze-
ria-restaurant in foodie-friendly North Jersey. At CHEW CHEW PIZZERIA, the sixth-generation
Sicilian’s menu includes a range of pizzas, including buffalo chicken, eggplant Milanese and chicken
bacon ranch; pasta such as penne ala vodka and fettuccine alfredo; entrees like chicken piccata
and eggplant rollatini; and salads, appetizers, calzones and cold subs. Catering is also available.

As Debrah Block Krol admits on the website
for her business, DBK DESIGN WEARABLE
ART, she’s in love with color. The vibrant
shades and varying textures found in her
scarves, shawls and other hand-painted silk
and felted accessories and garments are as
unique as they are attractive. The longtime
Millburn resident and artist runs her business
from her home studio, and sells them at
shows and in galleries, including the East
Hampton Arts Festival, Lincoln Center Festival
of Arts and the Millburn Short Hills Fair. Her
rainbow of offerings is considerable, but she
also welcomes custom orders. And for anyone
who would like to learn how to make similar
pieces, she is giving the following workshops
at the Visual Arts Center in Summit: 11 a.m. to
4 p.m., April 29, Needle Felted Scarves; 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m., May 6, Introduction to Silk Painting;
and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 3, Needle Felted
Landscapes. (973) 735-3400,

HIGHLINE FASHION RAISES THE BAR ON STYLE
For those who mourned the closing of the teen boutique Gotham a few months ago,
there’s good news: HIGHLINE FASHION, a 2,500-square-foot apparel and accessories
boutique, recently opened downtown. The airy shop carries girls’ and boys’ clothing,
sizes 8-16, as well as juniors and women’s lines. Highline carries popular U.S.-based
brands Vintage Havana, Zara Terez, T2love, Tractr, Stoney Clover Lane and Bando, and
international fashion brands from Paris, London, Tel-Aviv and Tokyo. In upcoming
months, the store will offer a cosmetics beauty bar, where clients can take makeup
application classes, and an event dress lounge for bat mitzvahs, Sweet 16 parties, proms
and confirmations. Shoppers should keep their eyes open for special sales events and
trunk shows. 387 Millburn Ave., (973) 315-1984, highlinefashion.com
