Since the aligners are removable , they can be taken out to allow for optimal brushing and flossing , as well as enjoying foods that are normally restricted with traditional braces . A graduate of New York University College of Dentistry , Dr . Scheier completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center , where he is now an attending physician teaching aspiring dentists . Dr . Briannna D ’ Elia , an associate , is a graduate of Montclair State University and the UNE College of Dental Medicine in Portland , Maine where she earned her DMD degree . She is currently completing her General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center , where she is chief resident .
