MARY ACADEMY STUDENTS SPEND A DAY AT SAGE In late April, sophomores from Mount St. Mary Academy in Watchung visited SAGE Eldercare in Summit as part of its Spend-A- Day program. The students helped seniors make colorful spring bouquets. “Spend-A- Day clients enjoyed not only the craft and resulting sense of accomplishment, but also the time spent with such kind and friendly students,” says Susan Wirth, SAGE’s Manager of Recreation. This is the 10th year Mount St. Mary Academy has participated in the program, which is offered by SAGE’s Spend-a-Day Adult Day Health Center to provide a break for family and caregivers for older adults. 290 Broad St., (908) 273-5550, sageedlercare.org. • 12 MAY 2018 MILLBURN & SHORT HILLS MAGAZINE > COURTESY Summit
