Recognizing this, the owners of ALIGN WELLNESS STUDIO began offering tween yoga last January. Tara Roscioli, one of the owners, describes it as “a fun, interactive class for boys and girls ages 10-13.” Borrowing from different yoga disciplines, the hour-long class focuses on strength and balance; partner poses are incorporated as a way of addressing trust issues. The program runs six weeks and costs $120; drop-ins are welcome for a $25 fee.
