BUZZWORTHY To be considered for Buzzworthy, contact Cindy Schweich Handler at [email protected] Summit After dining at a restaurant, it can be fun to stretch out the meal with dessert at another location. And if you’re eating at the ANI RAMEN HOUSE in Summit, you won’t have to go far: An outpost of LUIGI’S ICE CREAM, the rolled and scooped ice cream purveyor based in Red Bank, is now open inside the eatery itself. This is the second time Ani Ramen House has offered the savory and sweet combo under one roof; its Jersey City opened a Luigi’s Ice Cream stand in October. • 427 Springfield Ave., 908-679-8157, aniramen.com Millburn PAPER MILL PLAYHOUSE PRESENTS ‘CHASING RAINBOWS: THE ROAD TO OZ’ South Orange GRAHAM NASH COMES TO SOPAC GRAHAM NASH has con- SEPTEMBER tributed so many songs to the soundtrack of the Baby Boomer generation 7:30 P.M. — think “Teach Your Children,” “Our House” and “Carrie Anne,” — that if you’re of a certain age, you can probably hum a few. But in this new musical staged at PAPER MILL PLAYHOUSE from Sept. 26-Oct. 27, the audi- ence is treated to a compelling narrative, too: The story of how 5-year-old Frances Gumm evolved into the star beloved by millions. None other than Garland’s daughter, Liza Minnelli, has praised the show, saying “My mother said that her biography is in her music, and now a talented creative team is using that music to tell the story of her early years and her extraordinary rise to fame.” Ticket prices begin at $34 • 22 Brookside Drive, 973-376-4343, papermill.org Summit KIKA STRETCH STUDIOS OPENS A SUMMIT LOCATION Stretching is key to preventing injuries from overuse of the muscles, but it’s also important after a day spent seated at a computer. Former actress and dancer HAKIKA WISE, owner of KIKA STRETCH STUDIOS, knows the value of gentle stretching to loosen up tight muscles; she also believes that it fires up the nervous system, leading to greater productivity. The stretch sessions conducted by Kika Method therapists have been described as an alternative to yoga, and a cross between physical therapy and massage. The Summit studio, which opened in July, joins other North Jersey locations in Montclair, Morristown, Westfield, Short Hills and Englewood. Sessions of 25-60 minutes, as well as in-home treatments, may be booked and purchased online; a 45-minute intro offer costs $70. • 447 Springfield Ave., Suite S8, 908-376-9578, kikastretchstudios.com SKYVILLE; AFTER ANI RAMEN, LUIGI’S ICE CREAM
