FILM FEST WINNERS ANNOUNCED
The Education Foundation of Millburn-Short Hills put students
in the spotlight again this year, showcasing nine winning films
at the 6th Annual Millburn Film Fest. Event organizers invited
the community to view short family-friendly films created
by Millburn middle and high school students. The winners
included juniors David Chun and Jonny Berkowitz for Eclipse;
sophomore Kyle Farscht for Flash and Soulfege-The A Capella
Experience; junior Ariel Riseman for Heba’s Story; freshman
Alex DeRosa for Lyric; senior Aaron Surloff for Poppy; senior
Julia Newman for Sincerely, A Feminist; seniors Brendan
Weissman and Ben Goodman for The Fountain Case; and
eighth-grader Rachel Solomon for Walk- The Story of the
Iron Grannies.
