YOU WEAR THEM,
THEY REPAIR THEM.
Husband-and-wife team Eric and Jill
Goldstein of Short Hills have launched
Denimrepair.com. The web-based
service uses an eco-friendly vintage
darning machine that reweaves the
fabric for an enjoyable fit and feel.
And they don’t stop at holes; the folks
at Denimrepair.com are also masters at
tapering, hemming, pocket repairs and
zipper fixes.

Emily Dell has given new meaning to
“fashion on the go.” The Seton Hall
graduate owns Runaway, a mobile
boutique that dresses “young moms
who don’t have time to shop, and
working women who are sick of the
clothes at the mall,” she says. Her
28-foot box truck has pull-down
stairs, faux hardwood floors, elaborate
lighting, shelving and a dressing room.
Dell stocks a mix of about 300 pieces of contemporary apparel and accessories,
carrying only a few of each piece so there are new items every week for returning
customers. The mobile boutique is usually parked on Sinatra Drive in Hoboken
every weekend from March through November, and at Jersey City’s Grove on Grove
Festival the last Wednesday from May through September. For more information on
the boutique’s location, visit shoptherunaway.com.
