Just a reminder, all member’s usernames and passwords were reset back in February. If you have not accessed your Member Account since then, your past username and password will not work. Your new username is the first letter of your first name and your entire last name (all lower case) while the new password is your member number. Both your username and password can be changed to your preferences within the “My Profile” section of the Member’s Only website. Please also make sure to look at the Club Calendar for updated information on our upcoming events like Taco Thursday, Father’s Day Golf and “Sip, Dip-n-Doodle” – our upcoming wine and canvas event. Pars & Birdies, Cory Carper, General Manager/Head Golf Professional MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS Summer is finally here, it’s time to bring out the patio furniture and enjoy the nice weather. The clubhouse hours will be extended to 8:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday through the end of September. This will allow the members who like to play golf in the afternoon to still enjoy a beverage and an appetizer after golf. Cory has made arrangements with E-Z Go golf carts to lease a beverage cart for the summer. On the weekends and select nice days we will have beverages and snacks to offer our members on the course. We are also bringing out our hot dog machine! I wanted to bring you up to date on a few things I mentioned in the last newsletter. First we now have 10 signed Charter Equity Plus member extensions and two who have verbally committed to extend their membership. We now have four people who have signed letters of interest and paid a deposit to buy a new $100,000 Equity Plus Membership and we have three other verbal commitments. If you are interested in finding out more information about the new Equity Plus Membership, please call Scott Anderson at the club. The Board has only approved a total of 20 Charter Equity Plus and Equity Plus memberships. Secondly we are now in escrow with the tennis club sale at $1,550,000 and are due to close on July 31st. We are working with the PUD and SME Inc., of Seattle to separate the power and are working with Alderwood Water District and Delk’s Plumbing to separate the water. If you see construction going on in the parking lot it will be related to the sale of the tennis club. Thirdly, we recently signed a five year lease with AT&T for access to the cell tower. The lease is for five years at $1,750 per month paid in advance annually ($21,000). This provides additional revenue to the club. Over the last couple of months we have sent letters out to all Premier and Equity members asking them to sign an amendment to the “Two Sale Rule” in their membership agreement. This change to the “Two Sale Rule” allows the club to sell new equity memberships at a competitive price and then repay the next member on the sale list once revenues from new membership sales are sufficient to cover the amount owed to that member. We sent out 240 amendments and still have approximately 60 outstanding. The Board would appreciate it if you would take the time to sign it and send it back. In the event you have any questions feel free to call Cory Carper. Since April 1st we have sold 9 new Equity Memberships and have paid off two members on the sale list. We are working on some other things that I hope to announce in our next newsletter. Until then enjoy your time at the Club. Sincerely, - Bart Pitzer, President B
