News from the Catering Department: SEATTLE WEDDING SHOW
MCCC had a booth set up in the Seattle
Wedding show this January to feature our
club as a venue for brides. It was a successful weekend! This is the first time in six years
that the club has atten d this wedding show
so I was very excited to get our name out
there. The show was attended by 8,000
people and we had a prime location for foot
traffic! We all know what a great place the
club is to have an event, now it’s time for
everyone to know about us! In addition to
the wedding show, we are now featured
on TheKnot.com and WeddingWire.com.

The Donate to Course Improvement Fund
HELP IMPROVE OUR CART PATHS:
SEVERAL WAYS YOU CAN DONATE TO THE COURSE IMPROVEMENT FUND:
1. As much as you can as projects are prioritized; you’ll probably
donate several times during a 12-month period;
The Course Improvement Fund was initiated in the spring, just before
the possible sale of the club became Mill Creek’s No. 1 concern. At
the time, the Green Committee felt it appropriate to stop fund raising.
Now that sale of the club is no longer an issue, we are asking members
to donate to a good cause – fixing the worst sections of our cart paths.
We have received a favorable bid for asphalt paving, and are identifying
sections of cart paths that are the most problematic. These will be fixed
first, and we’ll do as much asphalt paving as budget allows.
The Course Improvement Fund currently has a balance of about $2,000;
approximately $5,500 has been donated in 2013 to help fund these
projects:
2. As much as you can once a year;
3. As much as you can on a monthly basis; call the main office
to designate the amount and it will be automatically added to
your monthly bill.
In case you are wondering how much we need to fund all projects
on the Green Committee list, we estimate between $35,000 and
$60,000. In three to four years, we hope to get them all done.
1. No. 9 back tee rebuilt ($1,700)
GREEN COMMITTEE MEMBERS:
2. No 16 white tee rebuilt ($1,300)
Suggestions, compliments and complaints can be directed to anyone

The Green Committee has identified more than 20 projects that will
require course improvement funds to get them done. Once the cart
path improvement project has been completed, the Green Committee
will select a new priority project if funds allow or donors can be recruited.
