Robert S. Cameron, Ph.D, is the Armor Branch historian assigned to the Armor School at Fort Benning, Georgia.
He holds a Ph.D. in military history from Temple University and a B.A. in history and economics from Binghamton
University. He is the author of more than 10 articles and three books related to mounted maneuver operations.
