This is a great book focused toward the younger
male reader. By the author’s own admission on page
xvii, in the first paragraph, he speaks to that audience:
“What I would not give to be twelve years old again … I
can’t go back in time, but I can give you some tips that I
wish I’d had when I was about your age.”
The professional military reader will not get much
out of this book. There are some points that are interesting and might be new information, but overall the
