Tony Dias, Branch Manager of Veterans United Home Loans of Hawaii, grew up in the military. He followed his Marine father from base to base. Tony himself joined the Marines in 1985 and served as a communications electronic technician for four years. Across the ocean in the continental United States, Comman Sgt. Major (CSM) Cris Nunez works out of the Fayetteville, North Carolina branch as the company's National Military Relations Manager. Sgt. Major Nunez joined the US Army in 1978 and had an array of significant assignments during his nearly 30-year career. As the National Military Relations Manager, he works to spread awareness of the VA home loan program to military families nationwide. First Lt. Ryan Bell, an executive officer with the Missouri Army National Guard and a Veterans United loan officer assistant, embraces the company's dedication to the VA home loan benefit. "Knowing what they've been through, it makes you that much more determined to want to help them," Bell said. "It's really gratifying to have a civilian job that enables me to make a living while at the same time helping my brothers in arms."
