veterans and their families. We hire,
know and love them.
Veterans and family members
work in all corners of our company,
from loan processing to the legal
department. Every Veterans United
Home Loans employee is proud
to serve those who have served
us. But there’s often a special
relationship between our customers
and Veterans United employees
who have worn the uniform or have
a personal relationship with those
who do.
“I served in the United States
Navy for 10 years on Nuclear
Submarines,” said Chris Cano, Loan
Officer at Veterans United Home
Loans of Hawaii. "Having used the
VA loan myself, I am ecstatic to help
others discover the benefits that
they are entitled to."
Vetearans United employees
across the nation share the bond
of service. From Hawaii to North
Carolina and everything in between,
our employees understand the
dedication and sacrifice involved
with being a part of the military.
Tony Dias, Branch Manager of
Veterans United Home Loans of
Hawaii, grew up in the military. He
followed his Marine father from
base to base. Tony himself joined
the Marines in 1985 and served
as a communications electronic
technician for four years.
Across the ocean in the
continental United States, Comman
Sgt. Major (CSM) Cris Nunez works
out of the Fayetteville, North
Carolina branch as the company's
National Military Relations Manager.
Sgt. Major Nunez joined the US
Army in 1978 and had an array
of significant assignments during
his nearly 30-year career. As the
National Military Relations Manager,
he works to spread awareness of the
VA home loan program to military
families nationwide.
First Lt. Ryan Bell, an executive
officer with the Missouri Army
National Guard and a Veterans
United loan officer assistant,
embraces the company's dedication
to the VA home loan benefit.
"Knowing what they've been
through, it makes you that much
more determined to want to
help them," Bell said. "It's really
gratifying to have a civilian job that
enables me to make a living while at
the same time helping my brothers
in arms."
It's no different here at Veterans
United Home Loans of Colorado
Springs where ties are strong and
great service is a top priority.
