We’re in this together.

A lot has changed in the last four weeks. Our families, our neighbors,
our country, our entire planet have been brought together by a
historic event. The pandemic-fueled chaos has been both novel and
frightening, a test for which we all felt unprepared.
In our industry, we’ve seen layoffs, furloughs, and market stagnation.
Sellers are pulling listings, buyers can’t tour homes, negotiated
contracts are in limbo when businesses can’t complete repairs or
financing becomes muddled.
But remember, a lot has stayed the same. Agents are making home
tours more accessible by providing virtual walkthroughs and videos.
Lenders are adopting esignature and e-Notary practices to keep
financing on track. Brokerages are providing training, resources, and
service digitally when agents aren’t permitted in brick-and-mortar
offices.
This is because relationships don’t dry up — and relationships are the
cornerstone of real estate. We adapt our communication, our tasks,
our processes — because the end result stays the same. We serve our
neighbors.
The squad over here at MoxiWorks dubbed this issue the Solidarity
Issue because we’re at a point in history where teamwork,
collaboration, and grit are at their most needed. We want our
partners, friends, customers, competitors, and employees to find
serenity and strength. Our mission is to be supportive, be productive,
and to be optimistic in the face of disruption. We’re in this together.
