Welcome to Spring, Readers!

Sure the first day of spring isn’t until the 19th, but we’ve already
sprung-forward and that’s hope enough in my book!
And so we begin a transition to a new season. Second home and
vacation markets have been booming, and residential real estate
across the nation begins its seasonal upward trend. Despite
looming physical and societal effects of COVID-19 across the
country and an impending presidential election, NAR’s economist
Nadia Evangelou is still optimistic about the market for both buyers and sellers — predicting a stable season thanks to low unemployment, target inflation and a dip in fixed-rate mortgage rates (source). Of course, until we hit the heat of summer there are still many unknown factors that could interfere with transactions at both national and local levels.
Take a moment to look inward. Put aside these larger adversities and focus on your own, individual business. Review the work you’ve put in so far this year and imagine how it’s about to burst
forth and really shine — just like a flower bulb does a lot of growing underground before popping through the dirt. March is your time to bloom!
In this issue of MILE62, affectionately dubbed The Bloom Issue, we’re celebrating. We’re talking about new beginnings, luxury real estate, networking your listings, and more. Agents, you’ve made it through the first quarter of the year. Reflect on your goals, adjust your tactics, and continue pushing toward success! Bloom in the face of adversity!
