OF TRADING AND EXECUTION
The Trade ’ s Rising Stars of Trading & Execution scheme is an opportunity to recognise up-and-coming talent working in a trading function at asset managers , hedge funds or retail stockbrokers across Europe . The list of 40 individuals is compiled following extensive market research with industry leaders on the sell-side and buy-side and verifi ed by interviewing those in the running , to evaluate their credentials .
To qualify for consideration , individuals must be under 40 years of age as of 31 December 2016 and be working in a trading function at an asset management , wealth , technology or life group fi rm . Consideration will be given to their day-to-day role in the business , career path to date , involvement in industry initiatives , volunteer or mentoring work , public speaking duties and academic success in a professional examination scheme .
