The
Vegan
Movement
W
ith the influx of vegetable forward menus to
new meat-free restaurants, popping up like
what seems to be monthly, Miami is more
veg-friendly than ever. Gone are the days when vegans
where thought to have only consumed kale, nowadays
options are endless. With the opportunity to indulge in
flavorful dishes like the Buttamlk Fried Chk’n Burger, at
Atlas Meat-Free Deli, the Dale Bowl at Della Bowls, and
the Insane Pancakes at Choices Cafe, choosing a diet
free of meat has never been easier ,and more enjoyable
in the Magic City. Whether it be for ethical, health,
environmental, or all three, the decision to live a healthy,
cruelty-free lifestyle has resulted in the Miami vegan
scene to surge. No matter where you are based in Miami,
you can be sure to find a vegan restaurant nearby.
The Miami Vegan Scene
Formally, Miami’s vegan dining scene lacked fine dining
concepts. Presently, we can enjoy the stunning skyline
whilst dinning bay front enjoying mouth-watering
Italian style vegan cuisine at Full Bloom. Or unwind in
Wynwood’s tranquil Sacred Space at Celebrity Chef
Matthew Kenney’s, Plant Food + Wine. The atmosphere is
just as gorgeous as the cuisine, offering a fully raw menu
with notorious dishes like Zucchini Lasagna and Kimchi
Dumpling.
