Although the online Certamen experience may not be as thrilling as going to a competition in person, it is a blessing that we were even able to have these online competitions. At first, I was not sure what to expect from these Zoom Certamen competitions, but after a few rounds of play, my team quickly adjusted to the circumstances and went on to do very well. The way Zoom Certamen works is the moderator reads the question, and when you know the answer and want to buzz in, you simply type buzz in the chat. Then, you unmute your microphone and say your answer.

Online Certamen was very beneficial for me because I learned to adapt to tough situations, a skill that one needs throughout their life. It was also very beneficial because I met so many new people from all across the country, and through Certamen, I made friends with people I have never seen in my life. Overall, the online Certamen experience was very exhilarating, and I recommend that you try it out!
