BRANCH OUT

WITHIN YOUR

COMMUNITY

No chapter can run off the back of one person and that is why making connections with local clubs, charities, and just random students is incredibly important. If your club ever needs help with an event, having the support of another organization or club can lead to making bigger and smoother conventions and service projects!

BE UNIQUE AND

MEMORABLE

When advertising for an event or for the club itself, make sure to create an advertising campaign that is both informative and eye-catching. However, this does not mean to just add bright colors and mountains of text. Instead when publicizing, ask yourself the following questions and make sure your advertisements answer these questions indirectly: What is the purpose of the event?, Who is the target audience?, Why would someone choose to come/join this activity?

HOST FUN EVENTS

This point might seem pretty obvious but make sure to hold incredible activities! Having incredible events in itself will cause people to be excited to go to the next activity and could even cause them to take Latin. When making events, it is essential to have planning at least a month ahead and to prioritize having fewer exceptional events than more mediocre ones. People will likely forget mediocrity but they will always remember greatness!
