Συνταγές της Μέσης Ανατολής
SALAD
In the Afghan cuisine, it is necessary to have a salad as a side dish.
The most common salad is composed of the simplest ingredients,
as well as an easy and light sauce. Although the salad has ordinary
ingredients, afghan women tend to cut the vegetables evenly and
in beautiful shapes and decorate the salad carefully, so the salad is
always a colourful gem on the everyday table.
INGREDIENTS:
1 kg cucumbers
0.5 kg tomatoes
0.5 kg lemons
1 mayonnaise jar
0.5 kg carrots
1 red cabbage
2 lettuces
2 packs of strained yoghurt
olive oil
salt
METHOD:
Finely chop all vegetables.
Stir the mayonnaise thoroughly into the yoghurt.
On a serving plate, place the vegetables according to each type.
Pour the dressing yoghurt sauce over the vegetables.
