As an Area Panel member, I thought
it would be a good opportunity to
see first-hand how these events are
run. They work very well, with lots
of input and hard work from staff
and volunteers!
The result of all this hard work
was a fun afternoon for the
young with soft play, bouncy
castles and a climbing wall for the
older child. There was as much
information as residents wanted
to know, including many helpful
tips for energy saving. It gave
me the opportunity to engage
in conversation with residents. I
also gained a number of service
improvement suggestions.
