Lujan and Tarsio vie for District 4 Legislator
Continued from page 2
district’s advantage. He is also dedicated to getting grant
money to address infrastructure issues, fixing city water,
sewer and sidewalks, as an added incentive to attract
new people into the area.
As the Independence party candidate, Tarsio claims
to offer a fresh perspective free from the constraints of
the two-party system.
“I am a moderate, I am very middle of the road. My
party’s representation can be appealing to a lot of people
who want somebody that’s not just going to line up,”
stated Tarsio. He asserts that as an Independent he
would be able to provide political capital for the district
when other county legislators worked to pass legislation,
the majority of whom are Republicans. As potentially
the passing vote needed for a piece of legislation, Tarsio
believes that he can use this political capital in ways that
would benefit the constituents of District 4.
Tarsio is also endorsed by Republican and
Conservative parties, the Orange County Federation of
Republican Women, and Orange County CSEA Local 836.
Tarsio promises to not only to serve the constituents of
his district, but anyone in the county who has an issue:
“If you know me you can contact me. Just because you’re
not District 4 doesn’t mean I’m off limits to you.”
