Caffé Macchiato under new ownership

affé Macchiato has a new owner.
Culinary Institute of Americatrained chef Jodi Cummings purchased the café with plans to offer an
American regional menu with a European
flare.
“I’m so proud to be doing this,”
Cummings said this week.
Cummings has already begun renovations on the little eatery, now open for
breakfast and lunch. Dinner hours will
begin in October, Cummings said.
“I cook seasonally,” she said. In the
winter, the menu will include soups,
stews and heavier pasta dishes; in the
summer, menu items might include gazpacho and ceviche.
