Town of Newburgh hosts 20th Relay for Life By LAUREN BERG A t times the Newburgh Relay for Life event this past Saturday felt more like a family reunion than a community fundraiser. Cancer survivors and their friends and family members sported matching T-shirts as they took turns walking around the track for Newburgh’s 20th Relay for Life at Cronomer Hill Park. Relay for Life, part of the American Cancer Society, raises money for cancer research and enables cancer survivors and their families to celebrate triumphs and losses with others who have fought similar battles.
